Kayleigh’s Camp of Arts

KCA runs throughout the Easter holidays, Summer holidays, and Christmas holidays.

At each camp, we have a different theme to focus on which we then show our family and friends at the end of the week. 

For example, our Easter holidays camp in 2022 was based on High School Musical, we learnt songs, dances and, acting from High School Musical 1 and 2 in the first week and focused on High School Musical 3 in the second week. This was the first camp that KCA ran, it was so much fun, and we really learnt a lot.

Another example was our summer holidays camp in 2022 which was based on Disney/Musicals. Each week we had a different theme to focus on. This included Moana, Aladdin, Frozen, Mary Poppins, Mamma Mia and Camp Rock. 

This summer, KCA will be running Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 3:30 pm at Tresham Kettering College Campus for the first four weeks and then we will be moving over to Kettering Science Academy for our fifth and final week.

During the Summer holidays the themes each week will be:

  • Week 1 – The Greatest Showman
  • Week 2 – Matilda the Musical
  • Week 3 – Beauty and the Beast
  • Week 4 – The Lion King
  • Week 5 – Encanto

As we will only be running from Monday to Thursday we will be putting on a show for parents to come and watch every Thursday.

In the future, we intend to venture out of Kettering into our Corby camps and the surrounding areas.

Within KCA our children learn techniques in singing and acting, as well as learning different types of dancing. 

At our KCA Camp, we can have children from Year 1 through to Year 6, with each activity benefiting all ages. We also have an opportunity for Young Leaders in Year 7 and above to join by giving them experience with helping our leaders with younger children and supporting them in activities. They will also help with taking children to the toilet and taking them to get a drink etc. Our Young Leaders are always so helpful and there are many opportunities for them to create their own activities for the children.

Our new Pricing Structure

Athena Activities now has a new pricing structure! We now offer core hours between 9 am and 4 pm with the option to book half days, early drop offs and late pick ups to suit your needs. Our famous early bird discount applies automatically when booking in advance and when you book a full week you also benefit from an extra discount. This means you can book summer camps for as little as £3.35 per hour!

Athena Activities can also offer extra hours for HAF customers at a discounted rate. Please make sure you have registered your child as HAF funded when registering on our website to take advantage of this deal during our Easter, Summer and Festive camps.

Just want to say Thank You to all the staff at Camp this week. Ruby had an amazing time doing sports and activities that took her out her comfort zone. She has been knackered every night and to top it off was awarded ‘Camp Superstar’
