‘Young Leaders Academy’ , term time club Tuesdays 3.15-4.45pm at Kingswood Secondary Academy.

 

Free to attend – funded , this is invite only, open to selected pupils – you must attend Kingswood to take part. We will be starting our Level 1 registration for community sports leadership on 20th January 2026. Level 1 Sports Leadership is open for Years 7 (aged 12 and above), 8 & 9.

 

The Young Leaders Academy is a targeted leadership and personal development programme offering an engaging mix of practical activities, teamwork challenges and community impact projects. Participants will work towards accredited qualifications in Level 1 Sports Leadership and Level 2 Community Sports Leadership, building confidence, communication skills, and future pathways in sport, youth work, and volunteering

 

Get real experience!
As part of the course, you’ll complete a small number of practical hours helping out at Athena Activity Camps during half term. It’s a great chance to build your confidence, boost your CV, and put your new skills into action — all in a fun, supportive environment.

 

Please bring sportswear/PE kit with you to every session and a water bottle. A light snack will be provided.

Our new Pricing Structure

Athena Activities now has a new pricing structure! We now offer core hours between 9 am and 4 pm with the option to book half days to suit your needs. Our famous early bird discount is available when booking in advance and when you book a full week you also benefit from an extra discount. This means you can book camps for as little as £3.35 per hour!

Athena Activities can also offer extra hours for HAF customers at a discounted rate. Please make sure you have registered your child as HAF funded when registering on our website to take advantage of this deal during our Easter, Summer and Festive camps.

Just want to say Thank You to all the staff at Camp this week. Ruby had an amazing time doing sports and activities that took her out her comfort zone. She has been knackered every night and to top it off was awarded ‘Camp Superstar’

Both my boys love it and can’t wait to come again. I just asked them what they liked and they said what’s not to like and the staff are cool too. Also my youngest has a physical disability and with support was able to be involved in all activities!
